IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE INTERPRETATIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE READING OF THE BIBLE BUT MERELY PLACE VARIOUS MATTERS IN THE CORRECT CONTEXT AND HIGHLIGHT VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, JEHOVAH GOD ONLY “GIVES” US WHAT WE AS HUMANS “NEED” TO KNOW ABOUT HIM, HIS INTENTIONS, HIS PLANS AND HIS DESIRES!!

CONTINUING WITH THE BOOK OF EXODUS

EXODUS Chapter 03

A very brief interpretation of Chapter 03 will follow:

Moses was tending the flock of sheep of his father-in-law at the “mountain of GOD” near Horeb.

While there an angel appeared in a bush that was seemingly burning but not being consumed by the fire; Moses was instructed to remove his shoes as he was on “holy” ground; and not to go nearer.

He was then informed that JEHOVAH GOD knew of the severe problems of the Israelites in Egypt and wanted Moses to go and speak to Pharaoh so as to have them released with HIS assistance.

Moses then inquired of JEHOVAH GOD as to what he should say to the Israelites when they asked him what is the NAME of WHO sent him; and JEHOVAH GOD replied “I AM THAT I AM” but that Moses should say that “I AM” sent him.

JEHOVAH GOD then added “Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:”

JEHOVAH GOD also promised Moses that HE would ensure that the Israelites would eventually be freed and live in a land “flowing with milk and honey”.

These acts of JEHOVAH GOD are all given to show what is to happen shortly when the “end times” soon come; irrespective of how powerful ALL the world’s human rulers are, HE will destroy them; and HE will lead all those acceptable to HIM to circumstances similar to a “land flowing with milk and honey”!!

If a person studies the Bible; comes to an accurate knowledge of JEHOVAH GOD and HIS desires and intentions; perseveres in WILLINGLY doing HIS EXPLICIT will to the best of his or her ability; and endures in desiring and doing so until the “end times”, then that person will be acceptable to HIM.

Then JEHOVAH GOD assured Moses that they would listen; and that Moses then should go to the king and plead that he should allow them to travel for three days into the wilderness to make sacrifice to their GOD; that Pharaoh would refuse; and that HE would then show HIS might to Pharaoh.

JEHOVAH GOD further promised that the Egyptians would eventually give them gifts of silver, gold and beautiful clothing when they were released to go; and that they would definitely not be in need.

My next Post should cover EXODUS: Chapter 4
