IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE INTERPRETATIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE READING OF THE BIBLE BUT MERELY PLACE VARIOUS MATTERS IN THE CORRECT CONTEXT AND HIGHLIGHT VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, JEHOVAH GOD ONLY “GIVES” US WHAT WE AS HUMANS “NEED” TO KNOW ABOUT HIM, HIS INTENTIONS, HIS PLANS AND HIS DESIRES!!

CONTINUING WITH THE BOOK OF EXODUS

EXODUS Chapter 04

A very brief interpretation of Chapter 04 will follow:

When Moses was instructed to go to Pharaoh he was dubious as to the people believing that JEHOVAH GOD had sent him.

JEHOVAH GOD changed the rod of Moses into a snake and back again; and also his hand was made white with leprosy and healed again so as to convince the people that JEHOVAH GOD had sent him.

JEHOVAH GOD informed Moses that if the two miracles did not convince them then HE would assist Moses to make water from the river turn into blood.

Then Moses angered JEHOVAH GOD by continuously complaining about his ability to speak fluently.

JEHOVAH GOD responded by informing Moses that Aaron would speak in lieu of Moses and Moses would speak in lieu of HIM. HE also informed Moses that he would be able to perform signs with his rod.

Moses then asked his father-in-law if he could return to his people in Egypt to see if they were well; his father-in-law agreed and Moses left with his wife and sons and took his rod, the rod of GOD, with him; all those in Egypt that wanted to kill Moses were dead by that time.

Moses was to tell Pharaoh that JEHOVAH GOD considered the Israelites to be HIS firstborn, and that HE would destroy the firstborn of Pharaoh if did not let HIS people leave to be able to serve HIM.

JEHOVAH GOD informed Moses that HE would enable him to do miracles; also that HE would allow Pharaoh to be stubborn and not let the Israelites leave.

JEHOVAH GOD then said to Aaron that he should go and meet Moses who became extremely overjoyed when he met Aaron.

Moses explained in detail all that JEHOVAH GOD had said and the miracles that HE had performed; and they both proceeded to Egypt where they duly informed all the elders of the Israelites what JEHOVAH GOD had said and then performed the miracles so as to convince them.

The elders believed them and were elated at their future prospects and worshipped and did obeisance to JEHOVAH GOD to show their appreciation

My next Post should cover EXODUS: Chapter 5
