IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE INTERPRETATIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE READING OF THE BIBLE BUT MERELY PLACE VARIOUS MATTERS IN THE CORRECT CONTEXT AND HIGHLIGHT VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, JEHOVAH GOD ONLY “GIVES” US WHAT WE AS HUMANS “NEED” TO KNOW ABOUT HIM, HIS INTENTIONS, HIS PLANS AND HIS DESIRES!!

CONTINUING WITH THE BOOK OF EXODUS

EXODUS Chapter 05

A very brief interpretation of Chapter 05 will follow:

Moses and Aaron informed Pharaoh of what JEHOVAH GOD had said; and asked that the Israelites should be allowed to go into the wilderness for three days to serve HIM.

Pharaoh was insolent toward JEHOVAH GOD and HIS authority; and informed his taskmasters to increase the pressure on the working Israelites so as to minimize their time to deliberate.

Due to the increased difficulty in obtaining building material less work was performed and the taskmasters beat the Israelites that they had put in charge of the workers.

The Israelites pleaded in vain with Pharaoh due to their new plight; but Pharaoh was adamant that they would continue to perform as before with the greater workload.

The Israelites then complained to Moses and Aaron that JEHOVAH GOD had rather caused them more anguish instead of releasing them.

Moses and Aaron duly complained to JEHOVAH GOD and accused HIM of also increasing their difficulties instead of saving them.

My next Post should cover EXODUS: Chapter 6
