IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE INTERPRETATIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE READING OF THE BIBLE BUT MERELY PLACE VARIOUS MATTERS IN THE CORRECT CONTEXT AND HIGHLIGHT VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, JEHOVAH GOD ONLY “GIVES” US WHAT WE AS HUMANS “NEED” TO KNOW ABOUT HIM, HIS INTENTIONS, HIS PLANS AND HIS DESIRES!!

CONTINUING WITH THE BOOK OF EXODUS

EXODUS Chapter 09

A very brief interpretation of Chapter 09 will follow:

Again Moses said to Pharaoh: “Let JEHOVAH GOD’s people go so that they may worship HIM; but Pharaoh became obstinate again.

The next plague was that all the cattle, horses, asses, camels, oxen and sheep of the Egyptians died; but not one single animal of the Israelites died.

Again Moses said to Pharaoh: “Let JEHOVAH GOD’s people go so that they may worship HIM; but Pharaoh, although seeing that only the animals of the Egyptians had died, remained obstinate.

Then JEHOVAH GOD told Moses to take ashes and in the presence of Pharaoh sprinkle them towards the heavens; which Moses surely did.

All the Egyptians with the inclusion of their magicians were covered in very painful boils; but Pharaoh remained obstinate.

Then JEHOVAH GOD spoke to Moses again and told him to tell Pharaoh that pestilence would strike the whole of Egypt and all its peoples as had never occurred before and they would all die.

Verse 16 is of ultimate importance as it is very specific in stating that JEHOVAH GOD is USING what HE is going to do to Pharaoh and Egypt, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT DO HIS WILL, for all generations, EVEN TO THE “END TIMES” to see. HE is going to DEMONSTRATE HIS ALMIGHTY POWER!!

It will indicate JEHOVAH GOD’s power throughout the earth to ensure that HIS NAME will EVENTUALLY be DECLARED and HONOURED throughout the ENTIRE earth as well.

Verse 16 reads “And in very deede, for this cause haue I raised thee vp, for to shewe in thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.”

The words for this cause haue I raised thee vp,” are indicative of what I have stated above!!

JEHOVAH GOD rightfully observed that Pharaoh had placed himself above his CREATOR.

Then, through Moses and Aaron, JEHOVAH GOD informed Pharaoh that HE was going to send destructive storms and hail throughout Egypt the next day that would kill all people and animals that were not sheltered in houses or sheds.

As instructed Moses stretched his rod toward HEAVEN and rain, hail and lightning, as had never been seen before, swept through Egypt killing all who were exposed; but not even slightly injuring one single Israelite.

All the crops, trees and other foliage of the Egyptians were also all totally destroyed.

This action of JEHOVAH GOD made Pharaoh pretend to fear JEHOVAH GOD and he told Moses that if the storm was stopped that he would definitely let the Israelites go and serve their GOD.

Moses did not believe Pharaoh and said that he would have the storm stopped once he was out of the city; Moses, however, left the city and stopped the storm.

Pharaoh, as well as his servants immediately again became obstinate; he would not let the Israelites leave.
