IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE INTERPRETATIONS DO NOT REPLACE THE READING OF THE BIBLE BUT MERELY PLACE VARIOUS MATTERS IN THE CORRECT CONTEXT AND HIGHLIGHT VERY IMPORTANT POINTS!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE, JEHOVAH GOD ONLY “GIVES” US WHAT WE AS HUMANS “NEED” TO KNOW ABOUT HIM, HIS INTENTIONS, HIS PLANS AND HIS DESIRES!!

CONTINUING WITH THE BOOK OF LEVITICUS

LEVITICUS Chapter 7

A very brief interpretation of Chapter 7 will follow:

Chapter 7 initially continues with the details of the laws and procedures of the sacrifices for the atonement of sinning and trespass offerings; the disobedience of certain of the laws and procedures was to be punishable by eternal destruction.

Verses 24 to 27 indicates as follows “24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it. 25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people. 26 MOREOVER YE SHALL EAT NO MANNER OF BLOOD, WHETHER IT BE OF FOWL OR OF BEAST, IN ANY OF YOUR DWELLINGS. 27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth ANY MANNER OF BLOOD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.”

It is quite obvious from the above three Scriptures that the eating of “fat” is acceptable and allowable under circumstances; whereas the “EATING” of BLOOD is NEVER EVER ACCEPTABLE OR ALLOWABLE.

Acts 15:19 & 20 (1611CE King James Bible) reads “19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from BLOOD”

Quite obviously it was not only acceptable but actually the norm of the non-Israelites to consider the worshipping of idols, the practicing of fornication and the eating of blood or blood products to be a way of life.

The writing of the letters to them would otherwise have not been necessitated; but becoming acceptable to JEHOVAG GOD necessitated that they made those changes.

It must be remembered that what actually constitutes “sin” is when we DO NOT ACT according to what JEHOVAH GOD considers RIGHT and what HE considers WRONG!!

Adam ate from the “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” and that is what we inherited from him; we did NOT automatically become “sinners”; we actually started to CHOOSE to become sinners by deciding that we also “KNOW” what is RIGHT and what is WRONG!!

I think it is fair to consider that all humans were born “into” sin rather than born “in” sin; Adam had laid the foundation of “sin”.

In all fairness, it does sound right that a life is “saved” as a result of a blood transfusion; but as a result of humans deciding that they have the right to decide what is right and what is wrong, that same person stands to lose ETERNAL life!!

If I eat a large apple I will most probably enjoy it to the full and it should be GOOD for me; hence the expression “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”.

Should they minutely liquefy only a small portion of that same apple and inject it undiluted directly into my veins I would most probably die very soon; although intravenous feeding is often applied.

If I drink one tot of alcohol I would most probably feel slightly intoxicated; whereas should that one tot of alcohol be injected into my veins it would either make me “blind” drunk or possibly kill me.

Should I be so ill as to require intravenous feeding I would most probably be able to live for a long period of time without solid food; in other words, I am “EATING” via the veins in my body.

So where is the validity that a blood transfusion is different than “eating” blood, except that the blood enters the body via the veins instead of the mouth?

I doubt if I, in TOTAL honesty, inform the Traffic Officer that I am driving while my alcohol level is way over the limit due to an alcohol injection, that he would not immediately arrest me!!

Further to this discussion is the fact that there is one First World country that I am aware of where some of the citizens eat “blood” sausages; where the main ingredient is blood.

If JEHOVAH GOD is comparing the “EATING OF BLOOD” to “FORNICATION” then there is ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT that both the acts are NOT only disgusting to HIM, but ALSO TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

I MUST, HOWEVER, CONCEDE THAT IT IS YOUR RIGHT TO BELIEVE WHAT “SOOTHES” YOUR “ITCHING” EARS; BUT IT IS A FACT THAT YOU, AND ONLY YOU, WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO JEHOVAH GOD!!

Let me just state what 2 Timothy 4:1 to 5 states “1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the QUICK and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”

At this point in time I must again JUST mention that I have changed the word “quick” in Verse 1 to capital letters, coloured it in red and underlined it; so as to indicate that it means “LIVING AT THAT POINT IN TIME”.

In other words, at the end of “the end times” or when the “Advent of ARMAGEDDON” occurs there are people that are going to actually be alive, be judged and live through that period just as Noah lived through the Flood.

This is confirmed by the Verses in John 11: 17 t0 26 which state “17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already. 18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off: 19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. 20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. 24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 AND WHOSOEVER LIVETH and believeth in me SHALL NEVER DIE. BELIEVEST THOU THIS?”

The words AND WHOSOEVER LIVETH” DEFINITELY indicate the exact same point in time as the word “QUICK” in 2 Timothy 4:1; where the Bible informs that there DEFINITELY will be people living at that SPECIFIC point in time.

Once again, as I have mentioned this in previous Posts; Jesus asks “BELIEVEST THOU THIS?” due to the fact that humans have NEVER EVER believed that there ever would be people that would NEVER EVER PHYSICALLY DIE!!

It will do well to remember that “Just as in the days of the Flood, no one believed Noah when he preached to the people about the Flood; as NO such occurrence had EVER happened before.

I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT THE END OF “THE END TIMES” OR THE “ADVENT OF ARMAGEDDON” IS GOING TO OCCUR WITHIN THE NEAR FUTURE; AND THAT IF I AM STILL ALIVE I SINCERELY HOPE TO BE ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT NEVER EVER PHYSICALLY DIE.

OTHER THAN BILLIONS OF PEOPLE, SUCH AS THOSE OF NOAH’S DAY, I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THE END OF “THE END TIMES” IS ON HAND; AND ALTHOUGH I STILL FALL SHORT, I AM ENDEAVOURING TO BECOME ACCEPTABLE TO JEHOVAH GOD!!

Chapter 7 is rounded off with Verses 37 and 38 which clearly indicate which sacrificial occurrences and procedures were being held, namely;

“37 This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings; 38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.”

My Next Post should cover LEVITICUS Chapter 8.
