Not to SinTo sin is almost as easy as breathing, especially in the moral standards accepted in the world today. Due to the fact that people today accept that they have the right to decide what is right and what is wrong, they therefore change what suits them. Isaiah 5:20 states what the norm is today, and unfortunately the warning of what those that do such things are to expect: 20 “Woe to those who are saying that good is bad and bad is good, those who are putting darkness for light and light for darkness, those who are putting bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter”.

Today, living together out of matrimony, is as acceptable to most people as eating breakfast. More countries are legalising “gay” marriages, children are not allowed to receive corporal punishment, and very many more deviations from Jehovah God’s Word, the Bible.

To even try to mention the various sins that are unacceptable would take up unnecessary time, never mind the recording of sins of a more serious nature.

As stated above, committing sin is so easy, but to refrain from committing sin becomes far easier with as much effort put into it as possible. Another important factor is to remember, Jehovah God sees and knows all things. Allow this thought to cross your mind when temptation strikes, and see how healing it becomes.
To discuss sin further would not really serve much purpose. To discuss the wily ways of the Devil that cause sinning, or the results of sins committed would carry far more weight. The end result normally ends in death and total destruction and annihilation. Remember, the wages sin pays is death.

Remember also, that when you die you are only acquitted of your sins for two reasons, and two reasons only. The one reason is that you have been totally forgiven by Jehovah God and are going to be resurrected into His Kingdom, as an earthling or as one of the 144 000 Heavenly Class. The second reason is that you are considered unworthy and going to be annihilated forever, and it makes absolutely no logical sense that Jehovah God holds any sins against you.

The subject on sin, sins and sinning is so vast and also so complex that sincere and in-depth study of the accurate knowledge of the Bible is necessitated, which is an immense task. Unfortunately it is your responsibility to ascertain what constitutes sin and what not!

Please take note that the following Scriptures all taken from Proverbs, although they cover the same subject, are very indicative of the wiles of Satan the Devil. There are an enormous amount of sins that are caused by “unintentional” intentions of sinning. The “little white lie” can save so much trouble, surely it is not “sinning”. The “boss” is not in the office so a quick private telephone call can be made. That “call” was stolen! This is not being petty, this is the truth, and self-discipline “sets you free with a clear conscience”, which is well worth it. Yes, I was also guilty of many of those sins, and certainly must slip up frequently, without even realising it! I must, however, say that I am “trying” without making it a “burdensome issue”. I am “trying” because I want to! Always wearing my seatbelt comes naturally now!

By example, alcoholics do not become alcoholics with the first drink, but little by little, the habit grows. The same applies to all bad habits, and all the bad habits seem to yield the most fun, entertainment, pleasure and profit! Fortunately, the same applies to good habits, and the end result is the enjoyment of inner peace and satisfaction, inclusive of the freedom that truth gives.

Remember, many sins are caused by being allured into positions by Satan and his allies, and by your human weaknesses and fleshly desires. The main aim should be not to see the avoiding of sin or sinning as a major obstacle, but to see it as a change for the good and something desirable to be achieved.

When we go through the Scriptures it will also be seen how one sin can lead to other more and very serious sins, such as murder.

Let us have a look at a few Scriptures from the Bible:

Proverbs 6:24-35
24 to guard you against the bad woman, against the smoothness of the tongue of the foreign woman. 25 Do not  desire her prettiness in your heart, and may she not take you with her lustrous eyes, 26 because in behalf of a woman prostitute [one comes down] to a round loaf of bread; but as regards another man’s wife, she hunts even for a precious soul. 27 Can a man rake together fire into his bosom and yet his very garments not be burned? 28. Or can a man walk upon the coals and his feet themselves not be scorched? 29. Likewise with anyone having relations with the wife of his fellowman, no one touching her will remain unpunishable. 30 People do not despise a thief just because he commits thievery to fill his soul when he is hungry. 31 But, when found, he will make it good with seven times as much; all the valuables of his house he will give. 32 Anyone committing adultery with a woman is in want of heart; he that does it is bringing his own soul to ruin. 33 A plague and dishonour he will find, and his reproach itself will not be wiped out. 34 For the rage of an able-bodied man is jealousy, and he will not show compassion in the day of vengeance. 35 He will have no consideration for any sort of ransom, neither will he show willingness, no matter how large you make the present. (This is but one sin really discussed, as the sin of a hungry person stealing to be able to eat might enjoy sympathy, but adultery is a sin that mostly calls for revenge when found out. Further, the only sin that a person commits against himself is the sin of fornication or adultery.)
Proverbs 7:1-27
1 My son, keep my sayings, and may you treasure up my own commandments with you. 2 Keep my commandments and continue living, and my law like the pupil of your eyes. 3 Tie them upon your fingers, and write them upon the tablet of your heart. 4 Say to wisdom: “You are my sister”; and may you call understanding itself “Kinswoman,” 5 to guard you against the woman stranger, against the foreigner who has made her own sayings smooth. 6 For at the window of my house, through my lattice I looked down, 7 that I might peer upon the inexperienced ones. I was interested in discerning among the sons a young man in want of heart, 8 passing along on the street near her corner, and in the way to her house he marches, 9 in the twilight, in the evening of the day, at the approach of the night and the gloom. 10 And, look! there was a woman to meet him, with the garment of a prostitute and cunning of heart. 11 She is boisterous and stubborn. In her house her feet do not keep residing. 12 Now she is outdoors, now she is in the public squares, and near every corner she lies in wait. 13 And she has grabbed hold of him and given him a kiss. She has put on a bold face, and she begins to say to him: 14 “Communion sacrifices were incumbent upon me. Today I have paid my vows. 15 That is why I have come out to meet you, to look for your face, that I may find you. 16 With coverlets I have bedecked my divan, with many-coloured things, linen of Egypt. 17 I have besprinkled my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. 18 Do come, let us drink our fill of love until the morning; do let us enjoy each other with love expressions. 19 For the husband is not in his house; he has gone travelling on a way of some distance. 20 A bag of money he has taken in his hand. On the day of the full moon he will come to his house.” 21 She has misled him by the abundance of her persuasiveness. By the smoothness of her lips she seduces him. 22 All of a sudden he is going after her, like a bull that comes even to the slaughter, and just as if fettered for the discipline of a foolish man, 23 until an arrow cleaves open his liver, just as a bird hastens into the trap, and he has not known that it involves his very soul. 24 And now, O sons, listen to me and pay attention to the sayings of my mouth. 25 May your heart not turn aside to her ways. Do not wander into her roadways. 26 For many are the ones she has caused to fall down slain, and all those being killed by her are numerous. 27 The ways to She’ol her house is; they are descending to the interior rooms of death. (Reading these Scriptures seems to just be in connection with the sin of adultery. But a closer look, and more perusal, brings out all the ingredients of the desire to begin sinning right until the fruition thereof. Sin is initiated in so many different ways. Seeing, feeling, thinking or hearing can all give rise to desires. Seeing a beautiful woman can lead to fornication or adultery. Seeing an expensive motorcar can lead to theft or the showy display of one’s image. Feeling cold or hungry can lead to minor or major theft. Thinking of any reason to be “losing out” can lead to numerous sins. Hearing of an article that is left unattended can also lead to theft. So, a person always needs the urge to nurture the avoiding of the initiation of unhealthy desires. I understand that there are metal cages in certain countries that stand on pavements and are used as gaols. If the family, or nobody else, feeds the criminals then they are left to die. They do not become somebody else’s problem. My friend told me about them yesterday, and he says that there were no persons in any of the numerous cages that he saw, and that over a long period. My brother also says he saw similar situations. In those countries there are no safety gates or burglar bars. So, the choice is yours. You can either avoid wrong desires willingly or the hard way. Taking this into consideration, what seemed to be a difficult exercise in self-control now becomes relatively easy, or actually “the way of life”. Doing the will of Jehovah God is not “burdensome” according to the Bible.)
Proverbs 9:13-17
13 A woman of stupidity is boisterous. She is simplemindedness itself and has come to know nothing whatever. 14 And she has seated herself at the entrance of her house, upon a seat, [in] the high places of the town, 15 to call out to those passing along the way, those who are going straight ahead on their paths: 16 “Whoever is inexperienced, let him turn aside here.” And whoever is in want of heart – she has also said to him: 17 “Stolen waters themselves are sweet, and bread [eaten] in secrecy-it is pleasant.” (The above is the example of the power of the mind. When I was young, the stolen fruit from other people’s gardens always tasted delicious. Remember, the body is just a set of “tools”, and you, the person, are the driving force. So ifyour fleshly desires are aroused to the evil deeds of committing sin, then your set of “tools” just comply. The fleshly desires of others often play a significant role in the influencing of how a person acts, but the onus is squarely placed on the person’s own shoulders. They themselves will be held accountable. The “prostitute” only portrays the one party that commits the sin, the other party is the accomplice, whether misled or not.)
Isaiah 7:12
But A’haz said: “I shall not ask, neither shall I put Jehovah to the test.” (This Scripture would also not have been in the Bible if it was not a sin that was being committed by people putting Jehovah God to the test, which is also a major sin. An example would be to for instance say: “Dear God, if you save the life of my very sick child, I will always faithfully serve You until my dying day”, or something similar.)
Ezekiel 12:24
For there will no more prove to be any valueless vision nor double-faced divination in the midst of the house of Israel . . . (Divination is a very serious sin, even though the seriousness is played down in our world of today.)
Matthew 5:45
that YOU may prove yourselves sons of YOUR Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous. (There is no partiality with Jehovah God. Every human has the same possibilities. There is absolutely no truth to the abominable saying: “Never mind, the wheel turns”, in other words Jehovah God will ensure that justice will be done in this system of things. Jehovah Gods only has eventual interest in people that love and obey Him, and to these He will eventually give the gift of everlasting life in paradise conditions on this same earth. Remember, the reason that “sinning” still occurs is that Jehovah God does not immediately take action and discipline the sinner. All good “bosses” would be immensely pleased if all their employees did their work properly because they thought very well of him, their “boss”, and always endeavoured to please him. Why would Jehovah God be different? Were we not created in His image?)
Luke 13:16
Was it not due, then, for this woman who is a daughter of Abraham, and whom Satan held bound, look! eighteen years, to be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?”   (Firstly: Satan Causes Illness. Also, working on the Sabbath was also one of the “reasons” that Jesus was murdered on the torture stake. Working on the Sabbath is a very debatable subject, and here it would most probably be a conscientious decision that has to be made. My personal feeling though, would be that given our economics of today and all the different situations that arise, not daily, but sometimes hourly, it would be the individual’s decision. I am sure that a fair amount of sympathy and understanding would be given from Jehovah God’s side. However, to enable the purchasing of the latest model motorcar would definitely not qualify.)
Luke 18:13
But the tax collector standing at a distance was not willing even to raise his eyes heavenward, but kept beating his breast, saying, ‘O God, be gracious to me a sinner.’ (In our world of today, paying taxes is a governmental law, and the tax collector is an employee doing what is expected of him. Jehovah God requires everyone to be obedient to the authorities, except where their laws clash with His laws.)
Acts 10:14 & 15
14 But Peter said: “Not at all, Lord, because never have I eaten anything defiled and unclean.” 15 And the voice [spoke] again to him, the second time: “You stop calling defiled the things God has cleansed.” (The avoiding of eating certain foods that was given by Jehovah God was withdrawn. All foods are now allowed to be eaten, especially when the food has been sanctified by prayer. Blood is not food, and the law to abstain from taking any blood into one’s body is still as important, and disobedience in this case is an evil sin.)
Acts 19:19
Indeed, quite a number of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them up before everybody. And they calculated together the prices of them and found them worth fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Romans 2:7
everlasting life to those who are seeking glory and honour and incorruptibleness by endurance in work that is good; that is good;

Sins/Sinned/Sinning

Let us have a look at a few Scriptures from the Bible:

1 Samuel 8:7
Then Jehovah said to Samuel: “Listen to the voice of the people as respects all that they say to you; for it is not you whom they have rejected, but it is I whom they have rejected from being king over them.
1 Samuel 12:19
And all the people began to say to Samuel: “Pray in behalf of your servants to Jehovah your God, as we do not want to die; because we have added to all our sins an evil in asking for ourselves a king.”
1 Samuel 14:32
And the people began darting greedily at the spoil and taking sheep and cattle and calves and slaughtering them on earth, and the people fell to eating along with the blood. (A direct violation of not abstaining from blood.)
2 Kings 14:6
And the sons of the strikers he did not put to death, according to what is written in the book of Moses’ law that Jehovah gave in command, saying: “Fathers should not be put to death for sons, and sons themselves should not be put to death for fathers; but for his own sin should each one be put to death.”
2 Kings 19:4
Perhaps Jehovah your God will hear all the words of Rab’sha·keh, whom the king of As·syr’i·a his lord sent to taunt the living God, and he will actually call him to account for the words that Jehovah your God has heard. And you must lift up prayer in behalf of the remnant that are to be found.’”
1 Chronicles 21:1
And Satan proceeded to stand up against Israel and to incite David to number Israel.  (David was instructed not to do so.)
2 Chronicles 21:11
He himself also had made high places on the mountains of Judah, that he might cause the inhabitants of Jerusalem to have immoral intercourse, and that he might drive Judah away. (Immoral intercourse here is indicative of persons that supposedly have allegiance to Jehovah God, but have immoral interactions with various religions, doctrines and beliefs.)
2 Chronicles 25:4
And their sons he did not put to death, but [did] according to what is written in the law, in the book of  Moses, that Jehovah commanded, saying: “Fathers should not die for sons, neither should sons themselves die for fathers; but it is each one for his own sin that they should die.” (The same as 2 Kings 14:6. This eliminates the possibility of saying that one of the Scriptures is a misprint.)
Psalm 78:18
And they proceeded to test God in their heart By asking for something to eat for their soul.
Proverbs 19:2
Also, that the soul should be without knowledge is not good, and he that is hastening with his feet is sinning. (The Bible states that the person plus the set of “tools” known as the body make up a soul. So a human does not have a soul but is a soul, as is a fish, an animal and a bird. So the human should not be without knowledge according to this Scripture.)
Proverbs 24:9
The loose conduct of foolishness is sin, and a ridiculer is something detestable to mankind.
Proverbs 28:4
Those who are leaving the law praise the wicked one, but those who are keeping the law excite themselves against them.
Isaiah 3:9
The very expression of their faces actually testifies against them, and of their sin like that of  Sodom they do tell. They have not hidden [it]. Woe to their soul! For they have dealt out to themselves calamity.
Isaiah 29:21
those bringing a man into sin by [his] word, and those who lay bait even for the one reproving in the gate, and those who push aside the righteous one with empty arguments. (A person should not be too hasty to give an opinion or answer that is not approved by the Bible.)
Isaiah 31:7
For in that day they will reject each one his worthless gods of silver and his valueless gods of gold, that YOUR hands have made for yourselves as a sin. (Materialism is classified as a god and a sin in the Bible.)
Isaiah 38:17
Look! For peace I had what was bitter, yes, bitter; And you yourself have become attached to my soul [and kept it] from the pit of disintegration. For you have thrown behind your back all my sins.
Jeremiah 2:7
“And I gradually brought YOU to a land of the orchard, to eat its fruitage and its good things. But YOU came in and defiled my land; and my own inheritance YOU made something detestable . . . (No gratitude to Jehovah God.)
Jeremiah 12:1 & 2
1 You are righteous, O Jehovah, when I make my complaint to you, indeed when I speak even about matters of judgment with you. Why is it that the way of wicked ones is what has succeeded, that all those who are committing treachery are the unworried ones? 2 You have planted them; they have also taken root. They keep going ahead; they have also produced fruit. You are near in their mouth, but far away from their kidneys . . . (Even in Biblical times it seemed that the evil people prospered as does it today, but with accurate Bible knowledge, nothing is further from the truth into eternity.)
Jeremiah 23:11
“For both the prophet and the priest themselves have become polluted. Also in my own house I have found their badness,” is the utterance of Jehovah . . . (Virtually all the mainline religions have those doctrines as their basis of teaching and also their false priests and prophets..)
Ezekiel 13:19
And will YOU profane me toward my people for the handfuls of barley and for the morsels of bread, in order to put to death the souls that ought not to die and in order to preserve alive the souls that ought not to live by YOUR lie to my people, the hearers of a lie?”’ (False religious leaders and their evil deeds even rife today.)
Ezekiel 16:17
And you would take your beautiful articles from my gold and from my silver that I had given to you and you would make for yourself images of a male and prostitute yourself with them . . .
Ezekiel 16:32
In the case of the wife that commits adultery, she takes strangers instead of her own husband.
Ezekiel 18:20 & 21
20 The soul that is sinning—it itself will die. A son himself will bear nothing because of the error of the father, and a father himself will bear nothing because of the error of the son. Upon his own self the very righteousness of the righteous one will come to be, and upon his own self the very wickedness of a wicked one will come to be. 21 “‘Now as regards someone wicked, in case he should turn back from all his sins that he has committed and he should actually keep all my statutes and execute justice and righteousness, he will positively keep living. He will not die . . . (Firstly, a soul can die, and then another repeat that each one will be accountable for their own sins.)
Joel 3:19
As regards Egypt, a desolate waste it will become; and as regards E´dom, a wilderness of desolate waste it will become, because of the violence to the sons of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood. (Shedding of innocent blood is one of the two unforgivable sins. Jehovah God will not forgive eternally.)
Micah 5:13
And I will cut off your graven images and your pillars from the midst of you, and you will no more bow down to the work of your hands. (The religion that I hope to become a member of does not have any religious emblems such as wooden, concrete or painted crosses, or statuettes, etc. in their religious houses where they honour their God, whose Great Name is Jehovah.)
 Habakkuk 1:2 – 12
2 How long, O Jehovah, must I cry for help, and you do not hear? [How long] shall I call to you for aid from violence, and you do not save? 3 Why is it that you make see what is hurtful, and you keep looking upon mere trouble? And [why] are despoiling and violence in front of me, and [why] does quarrelling occur, and [why] is strife carried? 4 Therefore law grows numb, and justice never goes forth. Because the wicked one is surrounding the righteous one, for that reason justice goes forth crooked. 5 “See, YOU people, among the nations, and look on, and stare in amazement at one another. Be amazed; for there is an activity that one is carrying on in YOUR days, [which] YOU people will not believe although it is related. 6 For here I am raising up the Chal·de´ans, the nation bitter and impetuous, which is going to the wide-open places of earth in order to take possession of residences not belonging to it. 7 Frightful and fear-inspiring it is. From itself its own justice and its own dignity go forth. 8 And its horses have proved swifter than leopards, and they have proved fiercer than evening wolves. And its steeds have pawed the ground, and from far away its own steeds come. They fly like the eagle speeding to eat [something]. 9 In its entirety it comes for mere violence. The assembling of their faces is as [the] east wind, and it gathers up captives just like the sand. 10 And for its part, it jeers kings themselves, and high officials are something laughable to it. For its part, it laughs even at every fortified place, and it piles up dust and captures it. 11 At that time it will certainly move onward [like] wind and will pass through and will actually become guilty. This its power is due to its god.” 12 Are you not from long ago, O Jehovah? O my God, my Holy One, you do not die. O Jehovah, for a judgment you have set it; and, O Rock, for a reproving you have founded it. (These Scriptures are so prevalent in our world of today. Even back in Bible times there were people that wondered why Jehovah God allowed all these things to occur. Take note, the inference here is “allowed” not caused to occur, or prevailed to stop. The Bible clearly states that Jehovah God gave Satan the Devil the right to do just as he, Satan, was pleased to do. So, Jehovah God can only intervene on a spiritual level in strengthening a person to have enough faith and courage to overcome the wiles of Satan, even to the point of death. It is not going to be long now, as most of the prophesied signs and occurrences have come to fruition. It is obvious that all the masses are laughing at authority as indicated in verse 10. The ”Truth and Justice” was replaced by “Law and Order” so as to bypass any moral implications that were desirable. Both “Truth and Justice” and “Law and Order” have disintegrated to nul and void. Chaos reigns! Very soon to be ended at Armageddon.)
Malachi 2:8
“But YOU men—YOU have turned aside from the way. YOU have caused many to stumble in the law. YOU have ruined the covenant of Le´vi,” Jehovah of armies has said.
Matthew 5:32
However, I say to YOU that everyone divorcing his wife, except on account of fornication, makes her a subject for adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (A sin that has become so rife in the world today that it seems more the norm than a sin.)
Luke 16:18
“Everyone that divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he that marries a woman divorced from a husband commits adultery. (Confirmation that Mathew 5:32 is not a misprint.)
Luke 22:48
But Jesus said to him: “Judas, do you betray the Son of man with a kiss?
John 15:22
If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.
Acts 13:6
When they had gone through the whole island as far as Pa´phos, they met up with a certain man, a sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Je´sus,
Acts 13:10
and said: “O man full of every sort of fraud and every sort of villainy, you son of the Devil, you enemy of everything righteous, will you not quit distorting the right ways of Jehovah?
Romans 1:26 & 27
26 That is why God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; 27 and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error. (In these two verses it seems that Jehovah God gave them up to their deeds, but the actual inference here is the same as we as human parents say about our children that have become totally disobedient and wayward: “I do not know anymore, I give up!” Also, when Jehovah God has given up on them, then eternal destruction definitely awaits them.)
Romans 2:21 & 22
21 do you, however, the one teaching someone else, not teach yourself? You, the one preaching “Do not steal,” do you steal? 22 You, the one saying “Do not commit adultery,” do you commit adultery? You, the one expressing abhorrence of the idols, do you rob temples? (It is surely the religious leaders that are especially being spoken about.)
Romans 5:21
To what end? That, just as sin ruled as king with death, likewise also undeserved kindness might rule as king through righteousness with everlasting life in view through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:1
Consequently, what shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, that undeserved kindness may abound?
Romans 6:7
For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin. (All persons that have died have not been forgiven their sins, but they have either been forgiven by Jehovah God as they are acceptable enough to go into Jehovah God’s Kingdom as an earthlings, or of the 144 000 Heavenly Class, OR those that are not acceptable will be destroyed and totally annihilated, and it makes no logic at all that Jehovah God keeps a record of their sins.)
Romans 6:10
For [the death] that he died, he died with reference to sin once for all time; but [the life] that he lives, he lives with reference to God.
Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin continue to rule as king in YOUR mortal bodies that YOU should obey their desires.
Romans 6:14
For sin must not be master over YOU, seeing that YOU are not under law but under undeserved kindness.
Romans 6:22 & 23
22 However, now, because YOU were set free from sin but became slaves to God, YOU are having YOUR fruit in the way of holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 7:3
So, then, while her husband is living, she would be styled an adulteress if she became another man’s. But if her husband dies, she is free from his law, so that she is not an adulteress if she becomes another man’s.
Romans 7:25
Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So, then, with [my] mind I myself am a slave to God’s law, but with [my] flesh to sin’s law.
Romans 8:3
For, there being an incapability on the part of the Law, while it was weak through the flesh, God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh. (Here The Trinity doctrine is again proved false as Jehovah God, who cannot lie or sin, could not have came in the form of sinful flesh.)
1 Corinthians 6:16
What! Do YOU not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For, “The two,” says he, “will be one
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has taken YOU except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let YOU be tempted beyond what YOU can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for YOU to be able to endure it.
1 Corinthians 11:27
Consequently whoever eats the loaf or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will be guilty respecting the body and the blood of the Lord. (With the Lord’s Evening Meal it is only the members of the 144 000 Heavenly Class that are still on earth that may partake of the emblems.)
Galatians 1:4
He gave himself for our sins that he might deliver us from the present wicked system of things according to the will of our God and Father,
Galatians 5:19 – 21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, 20 idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, 21 envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.
Ephesians 4:25 – 30
25 Wherefore, now that YOU have put away falsehood, speak truth each one of YOU with his neighbour, because we are members belonging to one another. 26 Be wrathful, and yet do not sin, let the sun not set with YOU in a provoked state, 27 neither allow place for the Devil. 28 Let the stealer steal no more, but rather let him do hard work, doing with his hands what is good work, that he may have something to distribute to someone in need. 29 Let a rotten saying not proceed out of YOUR mouth, but whatever saying is good for building up as the need may be, that it may impart what is favourable to the hearers. 30 Also, do not be grieving God’s holy spirit, with which YOU have been sealed for a day of releasing by ransom.
1 Timothy 2:14 & 15
14 Also, Adam was not deceived, but the woman was thoroughly deceived and came to be in transgression. 15 However, she will be kept safe through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and sanctification along with soundness of mind.
1 Timothy 5:20
Reprove before all onlookers persons who practice sin, that the rest also may have fear.
Hebrews 1:2 – 4
2 has at the end of these days spoken to us by means of a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the systems of things. 3 He is the reflection of [his] glory and the exact representation of his very being, and he sustains all things by the word of his power; and after he had made a purification for our sins he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. 4 So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.
Hebrews 10:18
Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
Hebrews 10:26
For if we practice sin wilfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left,
Hebrews 11:24 & 25
24 By faith Moses, when grown up, refused to be called the son of the daughter of Phar´aoh, 25 choosing to be ill-treated with the people of God rather than to have the temporary enjoyment of sin,
James 1:13 – 15
13 When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. 14 But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
James 5:6
YOU have condemned, YOU have murdered the righteous one. Is he not opposing YOU?
1 Peter 4:1
Therefore since Christ suffered in the flesh, YOU too arm yourselves with the same mental disposition; because the person that has suffered in the flesh has desisted from sins,
2 Peter 2:21 & 22
21 For it would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it accurately to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 The saying of the true proverb has happened to them: “The dog has returned to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire.”
1 John 1:8
If we make the statement: “We have no sin,” we are misleading ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:10
If we make the statement: “We have not sinned,” we are making him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 3:8
He who carries on sin originates with the Devil, because the Devil has been sinning from [the] beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was made manifest, namely, to break up the works of the Devil.
Jude 7 – 9
7 So too Sod´om and Go·mor´rah and the cities about them, after they in the same manner as the foregoing ones had committed fornication excessively and gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before [us] as a [warning] example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire. 8 In like manner, notwithstanding, these men, too, indulging in dreams, are defiling the flesh and disregarding lordship and speaking abusively of glorious ones. 9 But when Mi’cha.el the archangel had a difference with the Devil and was disputing about Moses’ body, he did not dare to bring a judgment against him in abusive terms, but said: “May Jehovah rebuke you.” (Jehovah God is very adamant that His lines of authority will be strictly adhered to. The words “disregarding lordship” are indicative of this, and also when on earth Jesus as a mere human was under the Devil and thus did not DARE to bring judgement against the Devil. The words “everlasting fire” are indicative of eternal destruction and are in no way literal. Those people will never exist again.)
Revelation 9:20 & 21
20 But the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands, so that they should not worship the demons and the idols of gold and silver and copper and stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders nor of their spiritistic practices nor of their fornication nor of their thefts. (Most churches have wooden, metal and stone religious emblems inside and outside their buildings.)
Revelation 18:4
And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. (Babylon the Great who represents all of false religion. With the Flood of Noah’s Day only eight persons did not honour Babylon the Great, and Armageddon is compared to the Flood. So only a small percentage have a future hope, and after Armageddon those people will again fill a paradise earth. Then they will be tested again, and those that do not fall will live into eternity in those paradise conditions.)
