IF PROBLEMS ARE EXPERIENCED IN OPENING THE CONTENTS OF THIS POST, PLEASE INFORM ME!

Do not be fooled by the word “PERFECT” or “PERFECTION”.

If a tool is exactly the right size to complete the job, the tool is “perfect”.  The old paint splatters and rust on the tool are irrelevant. The tool is “perfect” for the job it is required to do. An untold amount of examples can be mentioned. Surely, YOU have also stated that something is “perfect” without a meticulous inspection and a microscope. And, YOU were most probably right!

The words “PERFECT” and “PERFECTION” need to be always read in the proper and intended context.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL POSTS WILL BE PRECEDED BY THE IMPORTANT WORDS BELOW!

NOT ONLY WILL THE TRULY “WICKED” PEOPLE BE ETERNALLY DESTROYED BUT ALSO ALL THAT ARE UNACCEPTABLE TO OUR CREATOR JEHOVAH GOD! THE ONUS IS ON EACH AND EVERY PERSON TO ENSURE THAT THEY AND THEIR MINOR CHILDREN ARE ALL ACCEPTABLE! MILLIONS OF “NICE” PEOPLE WERE ALSO ALL DESTROYED IN THE FLOOD OF NOAH’S DAY! REMEMBER . . . JUST GOING TO CHURCH DOES NOT MAKE ONE A CHRISTIAN ANY MORE THAN SITTING IN A GARAGE MAKES ONE A MOTORCAR, AND LIFE WITHOUT PERSEVERING IN DOING JEHOVAH GOD’S EXPLICIT WILL TO THE BEST OF ONE’S ABILITY IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL . . . IT HAS NO POINT!

2 CORINTHIANS 13:5 & 6

5 KEEP TESTING WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE FAITH, KEEP PROVING WHAT YOU YOURSELVES ARE. OR DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS IN UNION WITH YOU? UNLESS YOU ARE DISAPPROVED! 6 I TRULY HOPE THAT YOU WILL COME TO KNOW WE ARE NOT DISAPPROVED. (The onus is on each and every person to frequently ensure that they are endeavouring to persevere in doing Jehovah God’s EXPLICIT will to the best of their ability! They must ENSURE that they are in Jehovah God’s ONE and ONLY TRUE FAITH!)

All remarks in Italics are also pertinent to the other subjects that have been or will be discussed, and also relevant to the Scripture that is being given now and those given later.

All my interpretations are in italics.

PERFECT AN PERFECTION

Our universe that Jehovah God had Jesus and the angels to make was also “perfect” for the purpose that it was made. Even Adam was similarly “perfect”. Other imperfect humans have proved Adam’s capability to perform more than what was expected of him. They were obedient, even to death whereas Adam did not even know about death, never mind the threat of dying. The imperfect humans that were born after Adam had to overcome the fear and often the physical pain, suffering, torture and even being killed irrespective of the fact that they were imperfect.

Except for our Creator Jehovah God, Who is totally PERFECT, perfection is relevant to circumstances and also requirements.

I have previously used the example of the dirty, old, partially torn and really worn out plastic bag.

I will repeat it now again as I think it will serve the purpose well.

Can a dirty, old, partially torn and really worn out plastic bag ever be perfect? NO, NEVER EVER!

WRONG!

By example: You need to take rubble to the rubbish dump. The amount of rubble fits exactly into a dirty, old, partially torn and really worn out plastic bag that is lying in your garage. Without the slightest mess you take the rubble to the dump. At the dump you decide that you do not think you will use the bag ever again. So you dump that as well. Without the bag you would really have had a problem as there was absolutely no other container around or easily obtainable. So without having to do an extra trip to the dump you disposed of the bag as well. The bag was thus PERFECT for the circumstances and the requirements. So, strictly speaking, the bag was PERFECT, period!

The Bible warns about the “twisting” of words and their meanings, but I do not think that that is applicable in this instance. People have said in my presence: “If Adam was perfect, how could he have sinned?” If the words “perfect” and “perfection” did not have contextual meanings then Adam should have been incapable of sinning. Many more examples could most probably be given, but the one about the bag should suffice.

Jehovah God designed us, so He knows how each atom of the human is connected, one to the other. He also knows exactly the weaknesses of each one of us. So, because we were born into imperfection, He will make adjustments, due to His undeserved kindness, to accommodate our individual failings, if He thinks that we are trying to do our best to avoid sin and please Him.

As far as I can interpret the Bible, King David has been forgiven, and is definitely going to be living on this same earth in paradise conditions. He will, however, have to face the wiles of Satan the Devil again when the Devil is let loose for the “little while”.

Remember: If what I assume to be true about King David is actually true, then it is the choice of every human to question Jehovah God about His decision, but I guarantee you I have no intention, or the inclination, to do so.

I hope that I have shed some light on the contexts in which the words “perfect” or “perfection” can be used.

Let us have a look at a few Scriptures from the Bible:

Genesis 1:21

And God proceeded to create the great sea monsters and every living soul that moves about, which the waters swarmed forth according to their kinds, and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God got to see that [it was] good. (The word “perfect” would have exactly the same inference as the word ”good” that appears in this Scripture.)

Ecclesiastes 7:29

See! This only I have found, that the [true] God made mankind upright, but they themselves have sought out many plans.” (Here again the word “upright” could be replaced by the word “perfect”! From this Scripture it is quite evident that humans decided to “do their own thing”.)

Isaiah 25:1

O Jehovah, you are my God. I exalt you, I laud your name, for you have done wonderful things, counsels from early times, in faithfulness, in trustworthiness.

Isaiah 55:13

Instead of the thicket of thorns the juniper tree will come up. Instead of the stinging nettle the myrtle tree will come up. And it must become for Jehovah something famous, a sign to time indefinite that will not be cut off.” (“Perfection” will be returned to the Heaven and earth.)

Isaiah 60:21

And as for your people, all of them will be righteous; to time indefinite they will hold possession of the land, the sprout of my planting, the work of my hands, for [me] to be beautified.

Isaiah 61:7

Instead of YOUR shame there will be a double portion, and instead of humiliation they will cry out joyfully over their share. Therefore in their land they will take possession of even a double portion. Rejoicing to time indefinite is what will come to be theirs.

Amos 5:10

“‘In the gate they have hated a reprover, and a speaker of perfect things they detest.

Luke 1:3

I resolved also, because I have traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them in logical order to you, most excellent The•oph´i•lus,

John 1:14

So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of undeserved kindness and truth.

Hebrews 5:7 & 9

7 In the days of his flesh [Christ] offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favourably heard for his godly fear.  9 and after he had been made perfect he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him,

Hebrews 7:26

For such a high priest as this was suitable for us, loyal, guileless, undefiled, separated from the sinners, and become higher than the heavens.

1 John 4:12.

At no time has anyone beheld God. If we continue loving one another, God remains in us and his love is made perfect in us.
