The Bible elaborates on the importance of prayer. There is a very valid reason for the Bible doing so. A prayer, as a real and true Christian understands it, is a very respectful communication with the Almighty God, Jehovah.

It is to Him alone that you may pray, and this you may only do bearing in mind what Jesus did for you, and that you approach his Father through him.

A prayer, as with any normal communication, can cover any subject, topic, complaint, request or query that you might need to approach Jehovah God about. The utmost respect for OUR Creator must always be intact.

2 CORINTHIANS 13:5 & 6

5 KEEP TESTING WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE FAITH, KEEP PROVING WHAT YOU YOURSELVES ARE. OR DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS IN UNION WITH YOU? UNLESS YOU ARE DISAPPROVED! 6 I TRULY HOPE THAT YOU WILL COME TO KNOW WE ARE NOT DISAPPROVED. (The onus is on each and every person to frequently ensure that they are endeavouring to persevere in doing Jehovah God’s EXPLICIT will to the best of their ability! They must ENSURE that they are in Jehovah God’s ONE and ONLY TRUE FAITH!)

All remarks in Italics are also pertinent to the other subjects that have been or will be discussed, and also relevant to the Scripture that is being given now and those given later.

If in this discussion that I am writing, any controversial statement is made, all you have to do is to approach Jehovah God in prayer. If approached in all sincerity and earnestness, Jehovah God will answer your prayer, maybe not immediately, but in time you will realise what He means. You must however consistently ask until you obtain the understanding which will occur if you are SINCERE.

I must, however, confirm that I cannot accept that Jehovah God will ever answer any physical requests or any desires for the “wrong reasons”. For instance, no one can pray: “Dear God, You know that I have been retrenched and am going to lose my home, may I please find favour, and You protect and save me from this awful future”.

This is, as far as I know, solely my opinion on prayer to Jehovah God.

Prayers for any physical needs are acceptable to Jehovah God, but only in the following contexts:

Firstly: Sincere prayers asking Jehovah God to give guidance to the obtaining of accurate Bible knowledge will be WELCOMED by Jehovah God, especially if He knows that there is a desperate need to get to know and then love Him, and eventually persevere in doing His EXPLICIT will to the best of the person’s ability. THIS IS THE SPIRITUAL PRAYER THAT IS DEFINITELY ACCEPTABLE!

Secondly: If a person prays for the safety or return to good health of another person, then Jehovah God is pleased for the compassion shown, and the person that did the praying will be remembered for that compassion. The person that is being prayed for can ONLY benefit from the encouragement that others care enough and then adjust their circumstances to improve their safe conditions or improve their mental attitude enough to assist their own recuperation. JEHOVAH GOD CANNOT UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE ANY PHYSICAL ASSISTANCE! If the person dies or gets killed or injured, then sincere prayers for mental and spiritual strength will be acceptable to Him.

Thirdly: Prayers about joy, happy occurrences such as the birth of a child, sadness of heart, grief, pain suffering, anger, frustration, FEAR, DOUBT, and many other problems or joys can be taken in very respectful prayer to your Heavenly Father, Jehovah God.

If you have a problem, such as to why He is allowing the suffering in the world, then Jehovah God will not be upset if you earnestly approach Him in all sincerity. Accurate Bible knowledge will give you the answer in no uncertain way, but until you have not obtained accurate Bible knowledge or just cannot “grasp” what you are being informed, then by all means pray and ask.

The reason why Jehovah God CANNOT intervene in the physical matters or affairs in the world are:

Firstly: The Devil defied Jehovah God and was thus given the opportunity of proving that he, Satan the Devil, was capable of keeping the human race and the earth in paradise conditions. If Jehovah God intervenes in the smallest of ways, then everybody could accuse Him of being the cause or reason why Satan the Devil has so miserably failed.

Secondly: If Jehovah God had intervened in any way at all then the humans would still have been living in paradise conditions on this same earth. If that was not then the case, Jehovah God could then be accused of partiality, which He fully denies.

Deuteronomy 10:17 states: For Jehovah YOUR God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the God great, mighty and fear-inspiring, who treats none with partiality nor accepts a bribe, and

Romans 2:11 states: “For there is no partiality with God.”

If the people were still to have lived in paradise conditions on this same earth, then Jehovah God would have either allowed Satan to kill off the wicked, or have done it Himself.

REMEMBER: Satan had to maintain paradise conditions on earth so that he could eternally rule the people that were also to live eternally. In other words, the people would have listened to and obeyed Satan as they would have had to listen to and obey Jehovah God. The reason that I state this is that only Jehovah God’s guidance, commandments and knowledge is capable of maintaining paradise conditions eternally.

Satan would not have gone against Jehovah God so as to eventually have everything to deteriorate as they have, otherwise it would have been futile for him to do so at all.

Now those that willingly served Satan would then have had to be allowed to live. Those that rebelled against Satan as he did against Jehovah God would then have had to be destroyed. Then Jehovah God would have to assist Satan or condone the killing of those that rebelled, and surely that would have made Jehovah God PARTIAL.

Is it possible that there are people that can believe:

That Satan the Devil knew that the people and the world would deteriorate so badly?

That Satan wanted the people to sin from the time that he openly rebelled against his Creator, Jehovah God?

Did Satan originally want the people to sin OR did he consider himself as being capable of ruling them while they were as obedient to him as they should have been to Jehovah God?

Satan’s intelligence is way above that of humans and so it can safely be assumed that he would not have desired to be the ruler of a universe that was deteriorating to the state where the physical earth itself will disintegrate very soon. What would then be left to rule?

As my previous post states, world rulers and politicians are in direct opposition to Jehovah God, so the ruling of countries and political situations make up a large portion of the problems of mankind today.

Before the advent of Third World countries, the ruling powers were falling very short of any rule having substance, or HOPE for mankind.

However, the situation is similar to that of Jehovah God’s Kingdom as opposed to Satan’s Rule, with the exception that Jehovah God’s Kingdom has PERFECT Governance.

The Third World countries demanded self-governance before they were considered to be in a Third World state.

Just as with Satan the Devil, the Third World countries are floundering on the brink of disaster, and in my own simple-mindedness I am of the opinion that neither their rulers nor Satan are fully aware of the destruction that they have brought upon themselves. Without the advent of Armageddon being the reality that it soon is going to be, first the Third World countries would disintegrate into oblivion due to disease, starvation and violence if nothing else, soon to be followed by the rest of the world due to total lack of control, moral standards and crime, if nothing else. Then it would be Satan the Devil’s turn! The earth would disintegrate due to all the damage that the human race has inflicted on it.

As Satan has been banned from Heaven where he and his cohorts could obtain sustenance, and the earth has disintegrated, there would be nowhere else left for him and his cohorts, so they would also be doomed to eternal destruction.

IT IS NECESSITATED SO AS TO BRING PROPER PRAYING INTO THE CONTEXT WHERE PEOPLE DO NOT “PRAY FOR THE WRONG PURPOSES” AS STATED AT JAMES 4:3: “YOU do ask, and yet YOU do not receive, because YOU are asking for a wrong purpose, that YOU may expend [it] upon YOUR cravings for sensual pleasure.

As death, which represents the end of our immediate life in this system of things, is absolutely not a problem that Jehovah God cannot solve or reverse, our fleshly being enjoys far less importance to Him as does the person we are. The “person” we are “CHOOSES”, or does “NOT CHOOSE”, to enjoy Jehovah God’s favour or acceptance.

I believe that if I ask for the life of a loved one to be influenced by the Person of Jehovah God, and that happens eventually, then I believe I have prayed in accordance with the way Jehovah God reasons and the loved one was open to accepting what Jehovah God should mean to him or her.

The loved one has had his eternal life saved.

If that same loved one does not want to change his life and do Jehovah God’s will, my prayer would still have had the same validity, but the loved one’s eternal life will never materialize.

Still with my belief, and that for quite a while,

Let us place that loved one in a terminally ill position. If I pray incessantly that Jehovah God should reverse the finality of the terminal illness, then I am following a futile route. If the loved one has found Jehovah God’s favour, then his death puts him out of further reach of the Devil. It would actually be a blessing in disguise. If the loved one has not found Jehovah God’s favour, then I can only pray that should he die, that Jehovah God would search for any possible undeserved kindness that He might feel.

Another point to ponder: What if the person recovers, but dies a very violent or painful death later. If you incorrectly believed that Jehovah God answered your first prayer, why would He then let the person die, and also in such a way, later?

The fact that the loved one dies, or does not die, is out of Jehovah God’s hands, but the final future of the loved one, will fully be in Jehovah God’s hands.

For myself, I must pray that Jehovah God will give me the necessary strength to cope with the loved one’s death. So with all other missiles that Satan the Devil hurls at me, I may only ask for the spiritual strength to overcome them, so even should I die. That also applies to the death of all my loved ones.

My further belief is that Jehovah God may only be asked for spiritual guidance and strength for me, my spiritual family and loved ones and also for spiritual guidance for all other humans.

The other very important aspect of prayer is thanksgiving. Just to know about Jehovah God is sufficient reason for thanksgiving. Then there are the other myriads of reasons to be thankful to Jehovah God for, especially if you are blessed with insight and understanding of the accurate knowledge of the Bible.

In the Bible Jehovah God states that He also becomes, not only the Father, but also a Friend of His true children. So you also have the right to tell your sorrows, fears, stresses, joys and pleasurable moments to your Creator, as well as any other matters that are important to you. Jehovah God is sincere. He will listen in all sincerity. Just as you “get something off your chest” to an earthly imperfect friend, just so can you approach your Creator.

In the model prayer given by Jesus when he was on earth, all the really required aspects are really covered.

WHERE? Who Art In Heaven!

WHAT ABOUT HIS NAME? Let Your Name Be Sanctified! (Incidentally, His Name Is Not LORD, But JEHOVAH!)

WHAT ABOUT HIS KINGDOM? Let Your Kingdom Come!

WHAT ABOUT HIS WILL? Let Your Will Be Done ON Earth As In Heaven!

WHAT ABOUT OUR SINS? Forgive us our trespasses!

HOW MUST JEHOVAH GOD FORGIVE OUR SINS? The Same As We Forgive Those Who Sin Against Us!

WHAT ABOUT OUR BREAD? Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread! – Meaning Our Spiritual Daily Bread!

HOW MUST WE BE LED? Lead Us Not Into Temptation! So we will OBVIOUSLY not be led “into temptation” as Jehovah God CANNOT, according to the Bible, tempt humans with evil

FROM WHAT MUST WE BE SAVED? But Deliver Us From Evil!

WHY? For Thine Is The Kingdom, The Power And The Glory!

FROM WHEN TO WHEN? Forever and Ever!

HOW MUCH FAITH MUST WE HAVE? Amen! – We Must Believe – SO BE IT! It Will Occur!

In the early stages of this writing the model prayer is also explained. To read it regularly could be wholesome.

As stated above, Jehovah God cannot be thanked enough. If we were to thank our Heavenly Creator for everything available to us, it would be a full day task, praying at high speed all the time! Fortunately, our Creator finds great pleasure in giving, and has a plentiful supply of undeserved kindness!

Remember, to pray to Jehovah God for physical assistance, such as that a sick person should be returned to good health is not a sin, as Jehovah God appreciates your caring about your fellow humans. Also, as stated earlier and repeated for remembrance, your prayer might act as a very strong motivation for strengthening the sick person’s desire to get well, especially due to their realising your loving concern. But Jehovah God still will and may not have any physical input into the physical healing, but only to give the spiritual strength to accept the eventuality.

Prayer should always be a major factor throughout your day, even if only fleetingly, as it serves the purpose of reminding you how dependent we are on our Creator, and how we should always behave to please Him.

Let us have a look at a few Scriptures from the Bible:

The following two Scriptures are given in the beginning, as they have significant bearing on prayer:

Hebrews 4:16

Let us, therefore, approach with freeness of speech to the throne of undeserved kindness, that we may obtain mercy and find undeserved kindness for help at the right time.

1 Peter 4:1 & 2

1 Therefore since Christ suffered in the flesh, YOU too arm yourselves with the same mental disposition; because the person that has suffered in the flesh has desisted from sins, 2 to the end that he may live the remainder of [his] time in the flesh, no more for the desires of men, but for God’s will (Verse 2 indicates that the death is not physical, but rather the death of the “fleshly” desires of the PERSON. I have an idea that “fleshly desires” is often read in the wrong context in that people assume it to mean intimacy between two people. Intimacy between the male and the female in the marriage arrangement is an institution of Jehovah God. Intimacy outside the marriage arrangement is just an additional “fleshly” sin, as is the love of money, materialism or any physical desire that goes against legal or good moral standards, or Jehovah God’s desires and requirements.)

Psalm 18:41

They cry for help, but there is no saviour, To Jehovah, but he actually does not answer them. (They prayed for the wrong reasons. Also, the word “cry” indicates that they expected Jehovah God to be available as a first-aid kit, only required in times of difficulty.)

Psalm 141:3 & 4

3 Do set a guard, O Jehovah, for my mouth; Do set a watch over the door of my lips. 4 Do not incline my heart to anything bad, So as to carry on notorious deeds in wickedness With men who are practicing what is hurtful, That I may not feed myself on their dainties. (This prayer also ascribes to the qualities of a healthy or model prayer. It is totally devoid of any physical requests and is thus a completely spiritual request.)

Proverbs 1:28

At that time they will keep calling me, but I shall not answer; they will keep looking for me, but they will not find me, (They prayed for the wrong reasons.)

Matthew 6:5

“Also, when YOU pray, YOU must not be as the hypocrites; because they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the broad ways to be visible to men. Truly I say to YOU, they are having their reward in full.

Matthew 6:9 – 13

9 “YOU must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father who art in Heaven, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. 11 Give us today our daily bread; 12 and forgive us our trespasses, as we also forgive those who trespass against us. 13 Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil, for thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.” (This excellent model prayer covers almost everything that we need. The additional thought that comes to my mind is that we should also thank Jehovah God incessantly for what He can mean to us if we CHOOSE to allow Him to do so.)

Mark 9:29

And he said to them: “This kind cannot get out by anything except by prayer.”

Mark 11:17

17 but he kept teaching and saying: “Is it not written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But YOU have made it a cave of robbers.” (The TRUE house of Jehovah God is fully and only spiritual, and its sole purpose is to supply spiritual “bread” daily.)

Mark 11:25

And when YOU stand praying, forgive whatever YOU have against anyone; in order that YOUR Father who is in the heavens may also forgive YOU YOUR trespasses.”

Mark 13:18

Keep praying that it may not occur in wintertime;

Luke 1:13

However, the angel said to him: “Have no fear, Zech•a•ri´ah, because your supplication has been favourably heard, and your wife Elizabeth will become mother to a son to you, and you are to call his name John.

Luke 11:9

Accordingly I say to YOU, Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to YOU. (This is the Scripture that according to my interpretation is also OFTEN taken out of true context.

The questions are:

What must YOU keep on asking for and what will be given YOU? Answer: SPIRITUAL WISDOM! The reason that I say “SPIRITUAL WISDOM” is due to the fact that it is asked for from Heaven, and would be the only WISDOM that Jehovah God would value into ETERNITY. James 1:5: reads: “So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him.” “WISDOM” is the APPLYING of knowledge accumulated, which in this case would be ACCURATE BIBLE KNOWLEDGE.
What must you keep seeking and what will YOU find? JEHOVAH GOD! Hebrews 11:6 reads: Moreover, without faith it is impossible to please [him] well, for he that approaches
God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.

Where must you keep knocking and what will be opened to YOU? YOU WILL BE “KNOCKING” AT HEAVEN’S DOOR AND UNDERSTANDING AND INSIGHT WILL BE OPENED UP TO YOU!  Revelation 3:19 & 20 reads: “All those for whom I have affection I reprove and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his [house] and take the evening meal with him and he with me.” By praying you will be KNOCKING at Heaven’s door and the understanding and insight of the Scriptures will be OPENED to YOU. The “evening meal” is indicative of spiritual food. No person can dispute what I have stated as easily as I could dispute literal meanings.

BY LUDICROUS EXAMPLE: My biological parents are very rich and I want their wealth as I consider that I “need” it. So all I have to do is keep on asking Jehovah God and He will ensure that my parents either die or become incompetent to handle the wealth, which then He will ensure will become mine. How He will evade the dividing of the wealth amongst my sisters and brothers should pose no problem to Him.

BY LESS LUDICROUS EXAMPLE: My father and mother are very wealthy but are in extremely poor health and suffer immense pain all the time. I and my family are not doing so well and thinking of the second Mercedes at this point in time is out of the question. So praying for the demise of my parents will actually help all of us with our problems. Surely God and all others should accept the feasibility and even possibility of me praying for the death of my parents.

I can carry on with the stupidity in which this discussion is headed, but as it has already served to indicate how illogical it is to pray for physical matters I will rather not carry on.)

Luke 18:1

Then he went on to tell them an illustration with regard to the need for them always to pray and not to give up,

Luke 18:7

Certainly, then, shall not God cause justice to be done for his chosen ones who cry out to him day and night, even though he is long-suffering toward them?

Luke 18:11

The Pharisee stood and began to pray these things to himself, ‘O God, I thank you I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unrighteous, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.

Luke 20:46 & 47

46 “Look out for the scribes who desire to walk around in robes and like greetings in the marketplaces and front seats in the synagogues and most prominent places at evening meals, 47 and who devour the houses of the widows and for a pretext make long prayers. These will receive a heavier judgement. (The false religious leaders are here being discussed and once again the Bible is very clear on how extreme their punishment will be. They are purposefully ensuring the eternal destruction of their “sheep”.)

Acts 16:16

And it happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a certain servant girl with a spirit, a demon of divination, met us. She used to furnish her masters with much gain by practicing the art of prediction.

Romans 1:9

For God, to whom I render sacred service with my spirit in connection with the good news about his Son, is my witness of how without ceasing I always make mention of YOU in my prayers,

Romans 10:1

Brothers, the goodwill of my heart and my supplication to God for them are, indeed, for their salvation.

1 Corinthians 7:5

Do not be depriving each other [of it], except by mutual consent for an appointed time, that YOU may devote time to prayer and may come together again, that Satan may not keep tempting YOU for YOUR lack of self-regulation.

1 Corinthians 11:4

Every man that prays or prophesies having something on his head shames his head;

1 Corinthians 16:23

May the undeserved kindness of the Lord Jesus be with YOU.

2 Corinthians 1:11

YOU also can help along by YOUR supplication for us, in order that thanks may be given by many in our behalf for what is kindly given to us due to many [prayerful] faces.

Ephesians 5:19 – 33

19 speaking to yourselves with psalms and praises to God and spiritual songs, singing and accompanying yourselves with music in YOUR hearts to Jehovah, 20 in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks always for all things to our God and Father. 21 Be in subjection to one another in fear of Christ. 22 Let wives be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord, 23 because a husband is head of his wife as the Christ also is head of the congregation, he being a savoir of [this] body. 24 In fact, as the congregation is in subjection to the Christ, so let wives also be to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, continue loving YOUR wives, just as the Christ also loved the congregation and delivered up himself for it, 26 that he might sanctify it, cleansing it with the bath of water by means of the word, 27 that he might present the congregation to himself in its splendour, not having a spot or a wrinkle or any such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 In this way husbands ought to be loving their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself, 29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation, 30 because we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave [his] father and [his] mother and he will stick to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” 32 This sacred secret is great. Now I am speaking with respect to Christ and the congregation. 33 Nevertheless, also, let each one of YOU individually so love his wife as he does himself; on the other hand, the wife should have deep respect for her husband.

Ephesians 6:1 & 2

1 Children, be obedient to YOUR parents in union with [the] Lord, for this is righteous: 2 “Honour your father and [your] mother”; which is the first command with a promise:

Ephesians 6:10 – 18

10 Finally, go on acquiring power in [the] Lord and in the mightiness of his strength. 11 Put on the complete suit of armour from God that YOU may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; 12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. 13 On this account take up the complete suit of armour from God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm, therefore, with YOUR loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and with YOUR feet shod with the equipment of the good news of peace. 16 Above all things, take up the large shield of faith, with which YOU will be able to quench all the wicked one’s burning missiles. 17 Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is God’s word, 18 while every form of prayer and supplication YOU carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit. And to that end keep awake with all constancy and with supplication in behalf of the holy ones,

Philippians 1:9

And this is what I continue praying, that YOUR love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment;

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God;

Colossians 1:3

We thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ always when we pray for YOU,

1Timothy 2:1 & 2

1 I therefore exhort, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, offerings of thanks, be made concerning all sorts of men, 2 concerning kings and all those who are in high station; in order that we may go on leading a calm and quiet life with full godly devotion and seriousness.

1Timothy 4:1 – 5

1 However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons, 2 by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, marked in their conscience as with a branding iron; 3 forbidding to marry, commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who have faith and accurately know the truth. 4 The reason for this is that every creation of God is fine, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is sanctified through God’s word and prayer over [it].

Hebrews 4:16

Let us, therefore, approach with freeness of speech to the throne of undeserved kindness, that we may obtain mercy and find undeserved kindness for help at the right time.

Hebrews 5:7

In the days of his flesh [Christ] offered up supplications and also petitions to the One who was able to save him out of death, with strong outcries and tears, and he was favourably heard for his godly fear.

Hebrews 5:9

9 and after he had been made perfect he became responsible for everlasting salvation to all those obeying him,

Hebrews 13:15

Through him let us always offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips which make public declaration to his name

James 1:5 & 6

5 So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him. 6 But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about.

James 4:1 – 3

1 From what source are there wars and from what source are there fights among YOU? Are they not from this source, namely, from YOUR cravings for sensual pleasure that carry on a conflict in YOUR members? 2 YOU desire, and yet YOU do not have. YOU go on murdering and coveting, and yet YOU are not able to obtain. YOU go on fighting and waging war. YOU do not have because of YOUR not asking. 3 YOU do ask, and yet YOU do not receive, because YOU are asking for a wrong purpose, that YOU may expend [it] upon YOUR cravings for sensual pleasure.

James 5:14 – 16

14 Is there anyone sick among YOU? Let him call the older men of the congregation to [him], and let them pray over him, greasing [him] with oil in the name of Jehovah. 15 And the prayer of faith will make the indisposed one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him. 16 Therefore openly confess YOUR sins to one another and pray for one another, that YOU may get healed. A righteous man’s supplication, when it is at work, has much force.

1 John 3:18

Little children, let us love, neither in word nor with the tongue, but in deed and truth.

1 John 3:20

20 as regards whatever our hearts may condemn us in, because God is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

1 John 3:21

Beloved ones, if [our] hearts do not condemn [us], we have freeness of speech toward God;
