Wisdom is the applying of knowledge acquired. Understanding, discernment and insight are of vital importance in the decisions that one makes. You can still make the wrong decision, but that will be the choice that YOU make. For instance, I desire so strongly to commit fornication that in any enlightenment, there will be found an excuse for not refraining from my wrongful desire.

If you are sincere, and you want to know what the Bible really states, then you will have to ask many questions and most probably from more than one source. It is, however, imperative that you establish from what sources you are gaining what information.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL POSTS WILL BE PRECEDED BY THE IMPORTANT WORDS BELOW!

NOT ONLY WILL THE TRULY “WICKED” PEOPLE BE ETERNALLY DESTROYED BUT ALSO ALL THAT ARE UNACCEPTABLE TO OUR CREATOR JEHOVAH GOD! THE ONUS IS ON EACH AND EVERY PERSON TO ENSURE THAT THEY AND THEIR MINOR CHILDREN ARE ALL ACCEPTABLE! MILLIONS OF “NICE” PEOPLE WERE ALSO ALL DESTROYED IN THE FLOOD OF NOAH’S DAY! REMEMBER . . . JUST GOING TO CHURCH DOES NOT MAKE ONE A CHRISTIAN ANY MORE THAN SITTING IN A GARAGE MAKES ONE A MOTORCAR, AND LIFE WITHOUT PERSEVERING IN DOING JEHOVAH GOD’S EXPLICIT WILL TO THE BEST OF ONE’S ABILITY IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL . . . IT HAS NO POINT!

AND

2 CORINTHIANS 13:5 & 6

5 KEEP TESTING WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE FAITH, KEEP PROVING WHAT YOU YOURSELVES ARE. OR DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE THAT JESUS CHRIST IS IN UNION WITH YOU? UNLESS YOU ARE DISAPPROVED! 6 I TRULY HOPE THAT YOU WILL COME TO KNOW WE ARE NOT DISAPPROVED. (The onus is on each and every person to frequently ensure that they are endeavouring to persevere in doing Jehovah God’s EXPLICIT will to the best of their ability! They must ENSURE that they are in Jehovah God’s ONE and ONLY TRUE FAITH!)

All remarks in Italics are also pertinent to the other subjects that have been or will be discussed, and also relevant to the Scripture that is being given now and those given later.

WISDOM

WISDOM is the “APPLICATION” of knowledge acquired. The knowledge acquired can be in many forms, but there are restrictions as to which forms of knowledge qualify to be “APPLIED” wisely. Also, healthy and beneficial forms of knowledge can be applied wisely or inappropriately.

If I stole something when I was very young and through experience later developed the technique of stealing without being caught, then that knowledge can never be “WISELY” applied. Even though I never get caught and become rich, powerful and influential, someone else will have to pay the price. NOTHING IS FOR NOTHING!

We see the results of this all over the world today. Many people, especially rulers and politicians, are apparently extremely rich, powerful and influential, or so it seems. Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gadaffi did not build their empires “WISELY”! They had knowledge of ruling with the power of the “gun”. That knowledge can NEVER be used “WISELY”.

I am a qualified tractor and diesel mechanic and in the years that I learned my trade, diligence, conscientiousness, efficiency, productivity and willingness to work in harmony with the rest of the industry were minimum requirements.

I must add that to work with people and to work with machinery are two completely different entities.

With people you can charm, tell lies, cheat, deceive or confuse them as to how well you are performing, how honest or diligent you are, etc.

With machinery and the technology available, those “pieces” of steel and other material, known as the components, have no possibility of being charmed, conned or confused, etc. I must admit though that I am convinced that if physical material is handled with the “love of the job” that the “dumb” machine answers with what appears to be a “perfect” hum, or the article manufactured seems to respond with the appearance of a “masterpiece”.

What I am trying to convey is that the knowledge of a tractor and diesel mechanic is healthy and beneficial but can either be applied wisely or inappropriately.

If I work according to the laid down rules of the manual and workmanship procedures then the knowledge is applied wisely. If I do not do so then the continuity of the performance of the machine will be affected and I would thus have done inappropriate work.

Wisdom and the Bible! Firstly, the source of the information you most probably should rely on the most is the one that can firstly answer all your questions with logical, practicable and meaningful answers. Definite answers as to what is required of you and with what results if you comply or you do not comply. Above all, though, is your sincere prayer that you gain accurate Biblical knowledge, that you are sincere enough to understand, discern and gain insight into the information that you receive, and are WISE enough to apply the knowledge acquired in the INTENDED CONTEXT!

Taking the Bible into account, there is the extreme amount of inappropriate applications that are being applied.

This is mostly because of the lack or desire of SINCERITY to obtain accurate Bible knowledge or to apply the accurate knowledge wisely.

If there is a cure for the disease of cancer and it is placed on the market then many a luxurious mansion or motorcar would still be unsold.

The same goes for the extremely wealthy empire of false religion. If accurate Bible knowledge was all that was available, understood and willingly adhered to then paradise conditions would be a reality and the false religious “monstrosities” that adorn the horizons would be non-existent.

I THINK THAT I HAVE JUST DESCRIBED WHAT WILL TRANSPIRE AFTER ARMAGEDDON!

There will be only ONE accurate UNDERSTANDING of what humans NEED to KNOW about our CREATOR, JEHOVAH GOD, and the WISE APPLICATION OF THAT KNOWLEDGE!

UNDERSTANDING

Let us take a look at what “UNDERSTANDING” means. To be able to understand any topic in the true context and intended meaning is truly very valuable.

What often makes understanding difficult is the fact that people come from all walks of life and different backgrounds. There is also a variation in the reasoning, mental abilities and the amount of sincere interest that is involved. There are most probably more factors, such as how important a person considers themselves to be.

For instance, a person was extremely poor when a child and has the sole aim of becoming very rich and powerful as an adult. It sounds completely feasible and “UNDERSTANDABLE”, but is that really a true concept. I DO NOT THINK SO!

As a result of being very poor the person now strives so hard to achieve the goal of becoming rich and powerful that he or she leaves behind a path of destructive realities.

AGAIN! For instance, the mother was a very poor girl, and has now become very rich, famous and powerful by initially working at three or four different jobs for twenty hours a day. What she has left behind was possibly even only one child, a daughter, that NEVER KNEW A MOTHER in the true sense of the word.

The daughter is normally spoilt and possibly on drugs and with low morals because the mother FORGOT about the TRUE and REAL purpose that Jehovah God created women. The mother just cannot UNDERSTAND what went wrong! Did she not only do her best in “slaving” for a better childhood and future for her child?

No she did not do so, she became obsessed with herself to such a degree that she omitted to realise all the other and more important avenues in life. In my opinion, self-importance is one of the most negative and destructive influences prevalent and ALSO the main reason that it is so difficult for billions of people to UNDERSTAND the true and intended meanings of the Bible.

I think it is amazing what a person can do with the power of words. What was the problem with the word “UNDERSTAND”, or have I created a problem. Before, everybody knew OR understood what the word “UNDERSTAND” means or meant. I truly do not think that I created a problem, but rather enlightened people to have a closer look at the source of the information and the intended meaning that was meant or what reaction was desired or required. I now think it would be wise to discuss the word “DISCERNMENT”!

DISCERNMENT

Discernment means to perceive clearly or make an effort to perceive clearly what is being desired or required.

When you perceive the contents of the Bible clearly then you cannot agree that all religions are acceptable as they all “pray” to the same God. My way of believing is that Jehovah God and Jesus is not One and the same Person, that Jehovah God cannot even consider torturing or burning people, Jehovah God is not partial, Jehovah God does not at present intervene physically in our world, etc.

With proper discernment or clear perception it is obvious that my belief or my religion differs extremely from most of the other religions.

Most of those religions are praying to a different “God” than mine. Their “God” and his son is one and the same person, their “God” allows for someone to burn people that do not serve him into eternity in a hellfire, their “God” is partial as he intervenes physically in our world at present.

The reason that I state that their “God” is partial by intervening in our world at present is that by performing “miracles” he saves many lives and yet allows others to die.  It is also stated that he has their futures planned even before they are born, so if anyone of them is murdered it is by his will. I do not think that I need to continue on the meaning of DISCERNMENT. Let me proceed to the word “INSIGHT”.

INSIGHT

Insight means to have the capacity of understanding hidden truths.

Luke 8:17 states: “For there is nothing hidden that will not become manifest, neither anything carefully concealed that will never become known and never come into the open”.

It is therefore an absolute necessity to pray for SINCERITY first of all and then to pray for the “hidden” truths to be given to you. Unfortunately a person has to qualify to obtain the SINCERITY if you do not have it. A person must be prepared to have a change of heart, a change of mindset, a change of desires, etc. if needs be! The old expression applies: “Where there is a will, there is a way”.

Intellectual capacity is also a very important aspect. Although much of our natural senses are purely based on instinct and survival we have the intellectual capacity to understand or have discernment and insight as far as the Bible is concerned. One again, the old expression applies: “Where there is a will, there is a way”.

The Scriptures in the Bible are truly enlightening and very often amazing.

Let us have a look at a few Scriptures from the Bible:

Proverbs 16:16

The getting of wisdom is O how much better than gold! And the getting of understanding is to be chosen more than silver. (From the above interpretations it is obvious that this Scripture has merit and is fully justified in the comparisons made.)

Proverbs 17:24

Wisdom is before the face of the understanding one, but the eyes of the stupid one are at the extremity of the earth. (It could seem that Jehovah God is partial. Many believe that they are not “stupid” but truly believe that there are many people that are born “stupid” and that cannot be held against them. The truth of the matter is that it is often the most intelligent humans that by self-importance decide what this or that Scripture really means. The terms “understanding one” and “stupid one” are indicative of the people who want to understand, discern and have insight, and those who do not.)

Proverbs 18:1

One isolating himself will seek [his own] selfish longing; against all practical wisdom he will break forth. (The song in which the words “no man is an island” occurs is so true. I am anxious to be part and parcel of The Jehovah’s Witnesses but have withdrawn so as not to “stumble” those that are still young or weak in the faith. My conscience will not permit me to accept ALL that they teach and it is only the people that are in the very high positions that can either set me straight or adapt. I fully realise that I am insignificant but what I have to offer the world comes from the Almighty and Omniscient God, Jehovah. I stand to be corrected, but in the meantime am sure hopeful that I will encourage people to be interested in Jehovah God’s IMPENDING Kingdom, irrespective.)

Proverbs 18:14 & 15

14 The spirit of a man can put up with his malady; but as for a stricken spirit, who can bear it?  15 The heart of the understanding one acquires knowledge, and the ear of wise ones seeks to find knowledge. (I interpret the meaning of the expression in the Scripture that states ”stricken spirit” to be a person without a logical, practical, meaningful and healthy eternal HOPE and Goal. I consider the word “malady” to be a physical or spiritual setback that seems to be, or actually is, truly severe and that seems insurmountable. If a person and his loved ones and all those that he cares about are acceptable to Jehovah God then NOTHING is insurmountable.)

Proverbs 21:11

By the laying of a fine on the ridiculer the inexperienced becomes wise; and by one’s giving insight to a wise person he gets knowledge. (If I say to someone that Armageddon is close and he mocks me then he is a ridiculer and unfortunately no physical fine can be placed him at present, but with Armageddon, the “fine” will be his everlasting destruction. However, if I say the same to a wise person then he would or should satisfy himself of all the facts, which he, being wise, obviously will. Maybe people should “ENSURE” that The Jehovah’s Witnesses are truly incorrect in their interpretations.)

Proverbs 22:17

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise ones, that you may apply your very heart to my knowledge.

Proverbs 23:4

Do not toil to gain riches. Cease from your own understanding. (I previously mentioned the prevalent evil of self-importance, but would like to add the description ofself-indulgence.)

Proverbs 24:3

By wisdom a household will be built up, and by discernment it will prove firmly established.

Proverbs 26:5

Answer someone stupid according to his foolishness, that he may not become someone wise in his own eyes.

Proverbs 27:11

Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me. (Satan the Devil is taunting Jehovah God and if you or I overcome his wiles we not only glorify Jehovah God but prove that Satan is the sole initial cause of all the problems in the world.)

Proverbs 27:12

The shrewd one that has seen the calamity has concealed himself; the inexperienced that have passed along have suffered the penalty. (The Bible states that there is absolutely “no place to hide”. That is absolutely true physically, but the spiritual realm of Jehovah God has no boundaries. If we can enter and persevere then Satan will never be able to take away our eternal life.)

Ecclesiastes 7:5

Better is it to hear the rebuke of someone wise than to be the man hearing the song of the stupid ones. (It is most probable that it would be wise to hear the “unpopular” words of a Jehovah’s Witness rather than to hear the chanting that we often see on television when “prominent” religious leaders are present, or worse still, to be part of the ritual.)

Ecclesiastes 7:12

For wisdom is for a protection [the same as] money is for a protection; but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom itself preserves alive its owners.

Matthew 11:25

At that time Jesus said in response: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to babes. (The word “babes” is indicative of people that have had no real “spiritual” food. The Bible often advises that people obtain as much spiritual food as possible so as to gain “maturity”. A physical “babe” is not only weak but has no understanding, discernment, insight or wisdom. Although the “babe” becomes an adult he may never gain any of these qualities but still could become physically very powerful, but only physically. Spiritual food and growth makes for the gaining of all the mentioned qualities when maturity is reached, as well as a very powerful faith powered by conviction, especially as the Source is Jehovah God.)

Mark 4:23

Whoever has ears to listen, let him listen.” (I do not need to comment but I will. There are none so deaf as those who do not want to hear. Similarly for those who WANT to hear, the voices of truth are available.)

Mark 15:5

But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate began to marvel. (There comes a time when it is not going to make a difference if a person speaks or not, as the people do NOT want to hear!)

Luke 16:8

And his master commended the steward, though unrighteous, because he acted with practical wisdom; for the sons of this system of things are wiser in a practical way toward their own generation than the sons of the light are. (I can only reason that Jehovah God places great importance on practicability. I, for instance, cannot fathom that Jehovah God would give us physical fleshly bodies and teach us how to plant and reap, when He plans to use us in Heaven where none of that experience would be worthwhile. I as a miserable human would not train a man in dentistry if I intended using him as a motor mechanic.)

Luke 23:40

In reply the other rebuked him and said: “Do you not fear God at all, now that you are in the same judgment? (We humans have an expression that states “Do not throw stones if you live in glass houses”. To judge the deeds of a person is not wrong. To unnecessarily make mention or discuss them could, and most probably would, be another matter. To “doom” the person is definitely not acceptable. We know that people commit the forever unforgivable sin and blaspheme against the Holy Spirit which is the Person of Jehovah God, but it is not for us to make mention of the matter by being specific as to who is doing so.)

1 Corinthians 1:20

Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish?

Philippians 2:5

Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and [their] marrow, and [is] able to discern thoughts and intentions of [the] heart.

Hebrews 5:14

But solid food belongs to mature people, to those who through use have their perceptive powers trained to distinguish both right and wrong.

James 1:5 & 6

5 So, if any one of YOU is lacking in wisdom, let him keep on asking God, for he gives generously to all and without reproaching; and it will be given him. 6 But let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. (Here the Bible is mentioning the literal sea as well as the “sea” that is indicative of the people that are unacceptable to Jehovah God. As the waves in the literal sea go first one way, being forward, and then the opposite way, being backward, so do many people when their religion is involved. They are sometimes very positive and full of energy, but other times just float along with the tide. Their conviction is also alternating between very strong to fairly weak.)

James 2:13

For the one that does not practice mercy will have [his] judgment without mercy. Mercy exults triumphantly over judgment.

James 3:5 & 6

5 So, too, the tongue is a little member and yet makes great brags. Look! How little a fire it takes to set so great a woodland on fire! 6 Well, the tongue is a fire. The tongue is constituted a world of unrighteousness among our members, for it spots up all the body and sets the wheel of natural life aflame and it is set aflame by Ge•hen´na. (. (This Scripture is applicable to all aspects of our lives and not only our religious beliefs. If a person watches the crime stories on television it will do well to see how many times an insignificant remark can cause the guilt of a murderer to be established and that the murderer then pays for the crime with his life. That “remark” ensured the loss of a life! If there was unconditional love prevalent in the world then many really “innocent” remarks would be taken in the proper context. Another aspect where much strife is initiated by the “tongue” is during strikes, acts of violence at demonstrations, inhumane acts committed during the past being rehashed, etc. I sincerely think that we can only pray that we do not cause our tongues to cause pain, suffering, sad feelings, strife, etc. as the Bible states that there is no person that can really control their tongue. James 3:8 states: “But the tongue, not one of mankind can get it tamed.”)

James 3:8 – 10

8 But the tongue, not one of mankind can get it tamed. An unruly injurious thing, it is full of death-dealing poison. 9 With it we bless Jehovah, even [the] Father, and yet with it we curse men who have come into existence “in the likeness of God.” 10 Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. It is not proper, my brothers, for these things to go on occurring this way.

James 3:17

But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical.

James 5:12

Above all things, though, my brothers, stop swearing, yes, either by heaven or by earth or by any other oath. But let YOUR Yes mean Yes, and YOUR No, No, so that YOU do not fall under judgment.

2 Peter 3:4 & 5

4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.” 5 For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; (Jehovah God is extremely angered at people who MOCK when they hear of “the End of the World” or Armageddon!)

2 Peter 3:8 & 9

8 However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. (Would we as humans be so patient with others if we were so badly shunned and received absolutely no gratitude from them? All the suffering, pain, death and destruction is being tolerated and accepted by Jehovah God due to Him wanting to give each and every one of us the possibility of eternal life.)

2 Peter 3:15 & 16

15 Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given him also wrote YOU, 16 speaking about these things as he does also in all [his] letters. In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

1 John 5:19 & 20

19 We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one. 20 But we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us intellectual capacity that we may gain the knowledge of the true one. And we are in union with the true one, by means of his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and life everlasting.
